Statement in Art:

...

Ultra-Simplified:  For me, art is creating what you can as an expression. Art is simply a record of the emotions from when you created a work. You see I feel that art is mostly an expression, and the real art is knowing how to control the feelings about the expression by stopping at the correct time to keep it beautiful. For oil painting, it may be more complicated as emotion becomes transcended to by patience, and obsession for detail is permitted for quality?

Simple:

Is my art surreal and that which it is not realistic, or might I say that it is just an abstraction that is only what something might look like.  To this I reply that that is not what my art is about.  My art is simply a sharing of the discovery of the new, the feeling, the sense, and the emotion.

Further, I add this: With each modern person being so specialized in his or her business, our lives as they relate to one another today are indeed abstract and maybe a bit surrealish.  I would even suggest that in fact we might be nothing but chains of discovery of the new, the feeling, the sense, and the emotion!  Therefore, I conclude that my art is neither surreal nor abstract.  It is different, and different from nothing else.  It is fun to look at and that is all it was meant as. For me, art is sharing the new. Enjoy.

I painted a pineapple.   To my delight it appears delightfully realistic.  I now eat the pineapple and ask is it still life?
