Gunnison Sunrise

While down below it is still black and white dark

and there is still frost on the roof,

you see blues and purples first as

up above the sun breaks in

colors stream into in the forest

and onto the trees.

All as the sun begins to warm the rooftops.

Gunnison Sunrise is a painting. It is a bit of a novelty because of the half black and white half color content. It is not a "stary night" but it is fun, I mean look at the sky?
